Xbox Live Indie Games Now Max Out At 500 MB, Minimum Price Reduced
In an effort to make the Xbox Live Indie Section more user and developer friendly, Microsoft has made some significant changes to the platform. For starters, the maximum file size has increased from 150 MB to 500 MB, allowing for more freedom for developers.
Secondly, the minimum price has been reduced to $1. Originally, games over 50 MB had to be priced at $3 or more, meaning that many games were looked over because of their high prices.
Finally, the maximum number of games a studio can develop for the Indie Section has increased from 10 to 20. This means we could possibly see DLC Quest 12: The NPC’s Revenge.
