Game of the Month: April 2012

Since April 2012 didn’t feature a ton of games, and even fewer games worthy of a Game of the Month title, we decided not to do a system by system breakdown, but just a general winner of our monthly award.

Game of the Month:

Trials Evolution (Read Our Review)

If Trials Evolution had been a full $60 (which it could easily pass for), the game would have found itself in a tie with Xenoblade Chronicles this month. Both games feature enough gameplay and extras to keep you busy for a very long time, both have been anticipated for what seems like forever, and both received a perfect 10 from us. The main factor that led to Trials Evolution winning though, is the price point. Sitting at just 1200 MSP ($15), it could quite easily be the best value in gaming this year.

Xenoblade Chronicles (Read Our Review)

If you own a Wii and haven’t turned it on in a very long time, Xenoblade Chronicles is the perfect game to get you to boot it up. It is one of the best RPG’s available on the market today and will give completionists something that will take up more than 100 hours of their life.
