August 28th Could Be An Amazing Day For PS3 Owners

With the newly announced release date of August 28th for the Ratchet and Clank Collection, that date at the end of August could end up being an amazing day for PS3 owners. On top of the Ratchet and Clank Collection, the Journey Collector’s Edition is also confirmed for that day for just $30 (Journey was our top game from the first half of 2012), and Madden NFL 13 will be out that day as well.

On the unconfirmed side, but heavily rumoured, we could also see the Infamous 1 & 2 Dual Pack, the God of War Saga Dual Pack, and even the Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition. Various retailers are listing all three of these games for a $40 price tag and an August 28th date, though no official word has been given by Sony.

So, if all the retailers (CDUniverse, VideoGamesPlus, ShopGamebreakerz, and WOWHD) turn out to be correct, August 28th could truly be an amazing day for PS3 owners, giving upwards of 14 games found within the various releases:

 

Ratchet & Clank Collection: Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time demo also included)

Journey Collector’s Edition: Journey, Flower, Flow

Infamous 1 & 2 Dual Pack: Infamous, Infamous 2

God of War Saga Dual Pack: God of War, God of War 2, God of War: Chains Of Olympus, God of War: Ghost of Sparta (possibly all 4 will appear)

Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition: Uncharted 3

Madden NFL 13: Madden NFL 13

    What usrev2 said times a 1000. All of these titles are overhyped and don’t deliver on that hype, especially Uncharted 3.

    But to tell you the truth, the Dust 514 beta sucks

    Journey I will never understand why people like that game… it doesn’t have anything that makes it fun.

    Infamous is over rated. I still haven’t finished infamous 2 which was free… that tells you something about the game.

    God of war is ok, its gets boring pretty fast. if it has all the games in the saga it could be decent for the price
    Uncharted 2 sucked, despite what people claimed about it other then the graphics it wasn’t a good game. Uncharted 3 is probably no different, avoiding this one at all cost.

    Madden will be ok for sports fans but as every other multiplatform game it will be better on xbox.

    I’l get ratchet and clank collection.. there is also rumor that Dust 514 beta wil be availible to all PSN+ members, that is a truely good PS3 exclusive. I been in the beta for a few months and it is so much fun and unique.

    Awesome. Almost makes me wish I didn’t already own most of them! I might pick up Ratchet & Clank; the only one I don’t care about is the NFL thing.
